Boundaries start with knowing who were are, what we want, and the solid belief that we deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. This identity is formed when we are little, and is molded by the way our caregivers showed up for us… or did not. The good news is that even if we have a great deal of trauma in our history, we can grow the strength in our personal autonomy to shape who we are and what we believe in our own future.
